BIO
Nomad is our big softie with a whole lot of charm and not a single clue how big he is. With a thick chocolate tri coat patterned with ticking, he’s got that one-of-a-kind look and an even bigger heart. He outweighs Gipsy, but he lets her handle most of the guarding duties while he’s busy napping upside down on the bed or flopping dramatically across the floor.
He’s not the sharpest in the room, but he’s sweet, endlessly treat-motivated, and full of life. What he lacks in brains, he makes up for in heart (and hunger). He’s also incredibly expressive, you can read every emotion on his face, from excitement to confusion, and he uses his whole body to show it. Whether he’s bouncing in circles for snacks or slowly melting into your lap like a 100+ pound marshmallow, Nomad makes his presence known in the most lovable way. He’s great with people and dogs alike, though small dogs don’t always appreciate his “bull-in-a-china-shop” energy. While he’s not the house protector by nature, he’ll back Gipsy up if he senses she’s not just overreacting, as long as it doesn't interrupt nap time.
Fun fact: the only time Nomad has ever growled with actual attitude, not just playfulness, was when Gipsy approached the big rock he proudly dragged out of a pond. It’s still his favorite trophy, and yes, he takes it very seriously.
BIO
Gipsy is the brain of the operation and the queen of sass. With a stunning blue merle coat diluted just enough to make her pop next to Nomad’s darker tones, she turns heads wherever she goes. At 19 inches tall, she fits perfectly into both Classic and XL American Bully standards, built with structure, athleticism, and serious presence.
She’s intensely focused and full of drive, always alert, quick to read the environment, and ready to respond to what’s going on around her. Whether it’s training, play, or guarding the house, she stays locked in. She also takes her job as the protector seriously, unexpected noises don’t fly at her house, and she’s the first to check them out.
Don’t let her serious, stoic face fool you, she doesn’t always wear her emotions, and at a glance, she might look a little intimidating. But in reality? She’s one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. Sit down at her level, and she’ll smother you in kisses without hesitation.
One of our favorite Gipsy moments: while camping, she got tired before anyone else. We found her curled up in the tent, tucked into our pillows like she’d booked the room for herself, bedtime is sacred, after all.
